R. Napier Murphy, Emeritus
Napier Murphy grew up in Thomasville, Georgia. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University where he also received a master’s degree. He earned his law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. He is a member of the Supreme Court of the United States where he successfully argued the case of Holder v. Hall. He is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Mercer University, where he taught workers' compensation law. He is an emeritus member of the State Bar of Georgia.
